Rydeworks provides non-emergency transportation services ("Service") to enrolled riders. By enrolling, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. These terms govern your use of the Rydeworks platform, including booking, payment, and cancellation.
There is no upfront charge to enroll. You will provide a payment method at enrollment, which will be saved securely. You will not be charged anything during your 30-day free ride period.
Upon successful enrollment, you will receive a Free Ride Code valid for 30 days. All rides during this period are provided at no charge. This is your opportunity to experience the service before billing begins.
On the Friday immediately following the end of your 30-day free ride period, your payment method will be charged based on your average weekly usage during the free period. For example, if you took an average of 3 trips per week during your free period, your first charge will be for 3 trips at the applicable fare rates. This ensures you are only billed for what you actually use.
After the first billing, your payment method will be charged every Friday for the rides completed during that week. Charges are based on actual fares for completed trips, calculated using Rydeworks' distance-based fare zones. The average fare is approximately $20 per round trip. You will receive a text message each time a charge is processed.
Any prepaid or credit balance that exceeds the fares for a given week will automatically roll over to the following week. Your balance is never lost — it stays on your account until used.
Fares are calculated based on the distance of each trip using Rydeworks' published fare zones. The estimated fare for each trip will be shown at the time of booking. Actual fare may differ slightly based on route adjustments.
By enrolling, you agree to a minimum one-week service commitment. If you cancel your subscription before completing one week of paid service, you will be charged for one week of rides at your average usage rate from your free period. Cancellation must be made by calling or texting dispatch — online cancellation is not available.
To cancel your subscription, you must contact Rydeworks directly by phone or text. You may not cancel online or via email. Any unpaid balance at cancellation will be charged to your payment method on file. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing week.
All payments are non-refundable once a trip has been completed. Free Ride Code credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
Riders must be ready at the scheduled pickup location at the scheduled pickup time. Drivers will wait up to 5 minutes. Missed pickups are charged at the full fare. Riders are responsible for providing accurate pickup and destination addresses. Rydeworks is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other conditions beyond our control.
Service is available within Rydeworks' designated service area. Trips outside the service area may be declined or subject to additional charges. Contact us to confirm coverage for your specific locations.
Riders are expected to treat drivers with respect. Rydeworks reserves the right to suspend or terminate service to any rider who engages in abusive, threatening, or disruptive behavior.
Rydeworks may accept Venmo, Cash App, or employer payroll deduction as payment methods for qualifying riders. When using these methods, payment is still due weekly. Failure to pay within 3 business days of the billing date may result in suspension of service. By selecting an alternative payment method, you authorize Rydeworks to collect weekly fares through your chosen method.
By providing your mobile phone number and enrolling in Rydeworks, you expressly consent to receive automated SMS text messages from Rydeworks at the phone number provided. These messages may include: trip confirmations and scheduling updates, driver arrival notifications, payment and billing alerts, and service announcements.
Message frequency varies based on your trip schedule. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance or contact dispatch at (727) 313-1241. Opting out of SMS does not cancel your subscription but may affect your ability to receive time-sensitive trip notifications.
Your personal information is collected solely for the purpose of providing transportation services and processing payments. We do not sell or share your information with third parties except as required to process payments or send SMS notifications (via a third-party SMS provider). See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Rydeworks reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. You will be notified of material changes via text message. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Pinellas County, Florida.
